Protect polished metals with a
long-lasting, transparent, acrylic shield.
Show car owners and collectors
with garaged collections typically do not seal polished metal surfaces. This
allows them to touch-up areas, as needed, by wiping on a small amount of
metal polish (BLACKFIRE Fine Cut Aluminum Polish or Wet Diamond Aluminum Show Polish)
and hand buffing. Since collector cars and show cars are rarely driven, there is
little need to protect the polished finish.
On the other hand, if you've
just spent the last eight hours polishing your Airstream trailer to a bright
shine, you want to keep it looking that way for as long as possible.
Blackfire Wet Diamond All
Metal Sealant is a modified version of our Wet Diamond All Finish
Paint Protection, designed to protect polished bare metals like aluminum. It
seals the finish under a protective, transparent, acrylic shield. This shield
helps protect against the effects of weathering, salt air, pollution, bug
splatter build-up and UV deterioration.
Wet Diamond All Metal Sealant is great for protecting billet aluminum, plated, anodized and/or clear
coated wheels. The super-slippery finish resists brake-dust bonding which makes
future cleaning easier.
All Metal Sealant
contains the latest generation of German, crystal polymers for both brightness
and durability. In moderate climates, one application will protect for six
months. In climates of severe heat and UV, I would reapply every 4 months.
Treated surfaces have a slippery feel and will sheet water (free-flowing water,
nozzle off the hose). When water stops sheeting and starts to "puddle"
it is time to retreat.

BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Metal
Sealant
is now super-charged with Polycharger! |
| No mixing or blending is required.
The Polycharger technology is built-in! Polycharger boosts slickness and
shine while extending the protection and durability. Polycharger does
this by interlocking or cross-linking polymers to create a barrier of
invisible amour with tremendous strength. |

| Can be applied by hand, dual-action or circular
polisher. Hand Application:
- If possible, work on a cool surface out
of direct sunlight.
- Apply a Quarter size amount of product on a dry
foam or Microfiber applicator pad and wipe on the surface using small
circular motions. Allow Wet Diamond to fully dry before buffing.
- Buff off films with a clean Microfiber
towel.
Dual-action (Porter Cable
7424) Machine Application:
- If possible, work on a cool surface out
of direct sunlight.
- Attach a dry, foam, 7.5
inch, White, CCS, Cool Foam Pad to your machine using a 6 inch Hook-and-Loop Backing Plate.
- Set the 7424's speed dial to between 3-1/2 and
4.
- Work on areas of 2 to 3 square feet.
- Apply two 8 inch lines of Wet Diamond All
Metal Sealant to the metal surface.
- Spread sealant over the surface using the foam
pad with the machine off.
- Place the foam pad on the surface and turn the
machine on.
- Go over the area once in a left-to-right
motion and once in an up-and-down motion until the sealant starts to dry.
- Allow a slight haze to form.
- Buff off residues by hand using a clean
Microfiber Buffing Cloth.
Circular Machine Application:
- If possible, work on a cool surface out
of direct sunlight.
- Attach a dry, foam, 8-1/2 Metal
Sealing Pad (our
GCM-F8) to your machine using a 7 inch Hook-and-Loop Backing Plate.
- Set the machine's speed dial to 1000 rpm.
- Work on areas of 2 to 3 square feet.
- Apply two 8 inch lines of Wet Diamond All
Metal Sealant to the metal surface.
- Spread sealant over the surface using the foam
pad with the machine off.

Pad Care & Clean-up:

|
 |
 |
|
Allow pad to soak for
5-15 minutes, fluff
pad using your fingers, and rinse. |
Spin dry at a
high speed and allow to
air dry, preferably in the sun. |
Dirty pads should have been
soaking in a bucket of water with two packets of Snappy Clean Pad Cleaner for 5 to 15 minutes. Fluff up pad with your fingers then
hand squeeze out excess water. Spin dry by putting pad back on machine,
hold machine upright, away from your body, set the machine to the highest
speed setting and turn the machine on. When water has spun out, remove pad
and allow to air dry, preferably in the sun. Do not apply sealant with a damp or wet pad.
