Polishing & Buffing Pads

   These are the most technologically advanced pads you can buy. Period. The foams we offer are engineered foams imported from Europe that are specifically designed for compounding, polishing and buffing. When I say "engineered" I'm referring to the fact that these foams are custom built to various levels of "cut" or aggressiveness. The vast majority of domestically produced foam is designed for air filtration, not polishing. These "off-the-shelf" filter foams from the U.S. and other countries cannot match the quality, performance and consistency of European specialty foams. We offer the same foam and pad technology that is being used at the OEM level worldwide (Ford, GM, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Porsche, Audi, VW, etc.).

    The second factor that distinguishes Lake Country pads is CCS Technology. This patented technology use strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells to slow the rate of product absorption, gradually releasing product as needed. This technology is particularly important when attempting to polish the newer automotive scratch resistant clear coats.

    Another Lake Country exclusive patent  bonds a layer of engineered, instant rebound, foam between the pad and the backing plate. This layer acts as a cushion or shock absorber between the machine, the operator and the surface being worked on. It absorbs off-axis motion while maintaining a constant and uniform pressure on the surface. (We call this "Constant Pressure™" technology.) This allows even the beginner to achieve professional-like results.

    In 2007, Lake Country Mfg. introduced CCS Technology, Cool Foam™ pads for standard and painted fiberglass and gel coat finishes.
