    The Laitner Brush Company may not be as well known as OXO but this Michigan-based company has been making innovative brushes for over 150 years. Laitner is well known in the automotive aftermarket for their line of auto body and detailing brushes sold under the "Grip-It" trademark.

    This Ergonomic Carpet & Upholstery Brush features Laitner's signature non-slip, comfort grip surrounding the block with indentations for your thumb and finger. The 1-1/4 inch, crimped, Polypropylene bristles on the front rows of the brush are angled forward for spot cleaning small areas while the middle to back rows are vertical for scrubbing carpets and larger areas.  The brush's synthetic bristles are resistant to petroleum, solvents, acids and detergents and are not affected by fungus or mildews. Crimping the bristles enhances the bristle's water-carrying ability for increased scrubbing power.

    Don't think of this as just an automotive brush. It's excellent for  cleaning/scrubbing virtually any surface. Use to scrub marine Bimini tops and RV awnings as well as vinyl and cloth convertible tops.

    Boaters - Use this brush to remove stains in carpets, upholstery, vinyl and leather surfaces as well as for spot cleaning decks, transom, teak and metal. The brush even floats if it should happen to fall overboard!

   Overall brush length is 5-3/4 inches.
